Brief History

The 169th Regiment, Ohio Infantry (National Guard) was organized at Camp Taylor, Cleveland, Ohio, and mustered in May 13, 1864. They participated in the repulse of Early's attack on Washington July 11-12.  They were mustered out September 4, 1864.[1]
