Center Contacts and Hours
Location & Map:
Address: 411 Loudon Rd, Albany, New York
- This is not a mailing address. Due to limited staff, Family History Centers are unable to respond to mail inquiries. Family History Center entrance is located at the left side door near the back of the church building.
Phone: 518-463-2566 (Call during Family History Center hours)
Open Hours:
- Tuesday & Thursday 10 am – 8 pm
- Wednesday 10 am – 2 pm
- Call in case of inclement weather
Holiday Schedule:
- Closed the week of Thanksgiving
- Closed the last two weeks of December
- Closed January 1, 2013
Center Resources
Collections
- The Albany NY Family History Center has copies of the Rensselaer County rural cemetery records on microfilm.
Databases and Software
- FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.
Hardware and Equipment
Readers are available for patrons to view the films and fiche ordered through the Family History Library Catalog. This center has a digital imaging system to save or print copies of images from microfilm.
