Family History Centers (Registros Microfilmados)
The Family History Center are part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and are available to their members to fulfill the covenant of Family Sealing.
However, they also provide an important service to the general public, allowing them Access to their vast libray of microfilmed civil records, ecclesiastic records, and many other documents of geneological value with having to be a member of their church.
These centers are staffed with voluntary teams and there is no charge for the use of their facilities, except for some nominal fees for photocopies, pedigree charts, film rentals, etc.
