Barbados Genealogy Books and Articles

Many genealogies of individual families who resided at Barbados have been published. The majority relate to families who later settled on the North American mainland during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Americans usually purport to have found traces of their families in Barbados after they left the British Isles and before they made it to the North American continent. A smaller number of publications reconstruct families who remained permanently in Barbados.
