Barkhamsted is a town in Litchfield County, Connecticut and contains six villages, West Hill, Mallory, Center Hill, Washington Hill, Pleasant Valley and Riverton. Barkhamsted was named after Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England.

Probate Records

Barkhamsted Probate Court covers the Town. Constituted 5 June 1834 from New Hartford. Contains the records of New Hartford Probate District 27 May 1825 to 5 June 1834.
