Berthoud Family History Center welcomes residents in Berthoud and the surrounding area to come and learn, share, and explore Family History and Genealogy. Please come and use our library internet access to Ancestry.com (library version) or bring your genealogy questions or family history brick wall issues.

  • From Mountain Avenue, also Hwy 56, turn South on 5th street and the LDS Church building is on the corner of 5th street and Spartan Avenue.
  • Entrance is through the North Doors, turn left down the hall and the Family History Center is the 1st door on the left.

Open Hours:

  •  7:30 pm -10 pm, Tuesday through Saturday

Holiday Schedule:

  • Closed during the weeks of major holidays.

Calendar and Events

Class Schedule

Every Sunday during second block of meetings, 10:15-11am, consultants available in library to give one-on-one tutoring and assistance, especially with Indexing Service Projects.

Collections

  • FamilySearch Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the FamilySearch Catalog.

Databases and Software

  • FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions. 

Hardware and Equipment

We have computers, printers, and microfilm and fiche readers. Also microfilm ordering capability.
