Category:South Carolina districtsEdit This Page
From FamilySearch Wiki
The articles in this category are about the former districts, or overarching districts, of South Carolina prior to 1800 that never came to be called a county without dramatic boundary changes.
Between 1800 and 1868 many South Carolina districts came to be called counties with little or no change of boundaries. If the new "county" had the same name as the previous "district" please do not include it on this list. Such districts which simply converted to counties can be found in Category:South Carolina alias districts.
