Parish History

CHARLTON-HORETHORNE, or Canfield (St.Peter And St. Paul), a parish, and formerly a markettown, in the union of Wincanton, hundred of Horethorne, E. division of Somerset, 5½ miles (S. W.) from Wincanton.[1]
