The Concord California Family History Center serves Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, and surrounding communities. It is located in the broader Bay Area which is served by the Oakland California large Multi-stake Family History Center.

- The Center is located on the south-east corner of the Concord Meeting House.

Monday, February 23, 2015 -- Introduction to Genealogy
Six lessons offered jointly at the Concord Family History Center by Contra Costa Genealogical Society and Concord Family History Center. Beginning Monday, February 23, 2015 through Monday, March 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM. Registration and payment are required by February 9, 2015.
How to... class:
How to... classes are offered monthly; January through May, on the third Saturday at 10-11:30 AM.
There is no charge, pre-registration is NOT required and All are welcome.
The 2015 class schedule has not been announced.
Staff Training Meetings
FamilySearch Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the FamilySearch Catalog.
- A catalog of all of the books, periodicals, CD's and extended loan microfilms and microfiche held by the Concord Family History Center is available online.

Databases and Software
FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.
Hardware and Equipment
The Center has four microfilm readers capable of viewing 35mm and 16mm film, three microfiche readers, and a film scanner/printer. Eleven computers, including two Macs, provide Internet access.
