Mustered in August 1861.
Consolidated with the Second New York, otherwise known as the "Harris Light Cavalry.
- 1st Regiment, Connecticut Cavalry
Mustered in November 2, 1861. Organized at West Meriden as a battalion.
Mustered out August 2, 1865.
