- Aldrich Spring, 44°31′08″N 120°40′09″W / 44.5190192°N 120.6691919°W This spring in S2, T12S R17E, was named by USFS ranger Douglas C. Ingram for John Aldrich. Aldrich for many years was a foreman for the Baldwin Sheep and Land Company who founded the famous Hay Creek Ranch.
- Allen Creek, 44°20′55″N 120°11′36″W / 44.3487474°N 120.1933332°W, The creek is a major tributary of McKay Creek. It is named for Benjamin F. Allen who was born in Illinoi in 1833. He came to Oregon with his wife, Matilda, and four children in 1868 via the Isthmus of Panama. The family took a homestead at the mouth of Allen Creek in 1871. Allen became a prominent cattleman of Crook County and served a term as county commissioner before moving to Portland in 1898.
