CROXDEN (St. Giles), a parish, in the union of Uttoxeter, S. division of the hundred of Totmonslow, N. division of the county of Stafford, 4 miles(E. S. E.) from Cheadle; containing, with part of Calton chapelry.
Croxden St Giles is an Ancient Parish in the county of Staffordshire. Other places in the parish include: Calton, Dog Lane Liberty, and Dog Lane.
