This includes surnames mentioned in the newspaper, listed alphabetically T-Z, February 3, 1921 through December 1921, with a capsulated sentence regarding the event associated to the individual, and its newspaper published date. It is obvious to the reader, that at least for the first year, most of the news was about the support staff of the mining camp. Few miners were subject of the stories, unless they were part of the various athletic teams, or other events.

Source: The Dawson News. A weekly newspaper published in Dawson, New Mexico. First Published in 1921. The newspaper was published on Thursdays by the Dawson Welfare Department. Jay T. Conway, Director and Editor until 14 July 1921 when he left to work for Kelly's Store in Raton. He was replaced by Paul K. Carson as Director and Editor.

A six month subscription was .75 cents and $1.50 yearly.
