BRIDGFORD, EAST (St. Mary), a parish, in the union of Bingham, N. division of the wapentake of Bingham, S. division of the county of Nottingham, 3 miles (N. by W.) from Bingham. 
East Bridgford St Peter is an Ancient Parish on the south bank of the River Trent opposite Gunthorpe part of Lowdham with Gunthorpe and Caythorpe, Nottinghamshire Ancient parish.
The church of St Peter which partly originated in the 11th century has been designated a Grade I listed building British listed building
