Parish History

EASTBRIDGE, a parish, in the union and liberty of Romney-Marsh, locally in the hundred of Worth, lathe of Shepway, E. division of Kent, 5 miles (N. by E.) from New Romney.
Eastbridge is an Ancient parish in Romney Marsh.[1]

The ruined church was an Ancient parish in the dicoese of Canterbury which has been in ruins since mediaeval times.

The ruins are scheduled Grade II listed designated by English Heritage who list them as probable 14 th century.

The Ancient Parish was absorbed into the neighbouring parishes of Burmarsh, Kent and Newchurch, Kent
