FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.

Welcome to the Exeter, New Hampshire Family History Center. Our mission is to provide help and support for the family history community in Rockingham County, NH and nearby areas. The Center and basic services are free, with just a minimal fee for printing and scanning. We are associated with the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, UT and you can order microfilm and micro fiche to view at our center from their online catalog. We offer free acces to many subscription websites through the FHC Portal on all of our computers.

Center Hours:

  • Wednesday:10:00am-2:00pm and 6:30pm-9:00pm
  • Thursday:10:00am-2:00pm and 6:30pm-9:00pm
  • Saturday:9:00am-1:00pm

We are closed on school snow days. If roads are cleared during the day we may be open in the evening. You can check all weather related issues by calling 603-778-2509. There will be a message on the answering machine.
