Help:Getting approval for Family History Library collection images to be used on FamilySearch WikiEdit This Page
From FamilySearch Wiki
| This help article will guide you as you edit in the Wiki. See Contributor Help for more help articles.|
Not all images in the Family History Library's collection can be used on the wiki. Each microfilm or fiche was copied as per a specific contract, and some of the contracts prohibit the use of a microform's images on the wiki or in other publications.
Images from collections can be included in the Wiki if the images are free to view to the general public, and have no restrictions such as the ability to save or print the image turned off.
When submitting an image for approval, please include as much information about the image as possible, including a link to the image, the film number, and the collection name.
Select the FamilySearch Limited License template as the license to use.
