This page and the FSW:Maintenance page are essentially identical right now - the purpose being that I am trying to determine what sounds better and leaning towards "Cleanup," mostly because it sounds better, but "Maintenance" is more all-encompassing. Thoughts? janellv 20:03, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- The original intention was that FamilySearch Wiki:Cleanup was just a sub-set of maintenance tasks that could be undertaken by anybody, without the need for any specific role or rights. These are the non-contentious issues that once fixed, everyone agree would improve the wiki. I think the pages should not be identical. The FamilySearch Wiki:Maintenance should be a high level overview of all the maintenance tasks with links to pages with more details about the different groups of tasks (Cleanup, Categorization, Stub etc.)--Steve 21:43, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, ok, that makes more sense. I'll revert this back. In the meanwhile I will do some more thinking about how this list corresponds to the other lists now created. Categorization is a bit of a tricky one because we've found that while you don't need specific roles, you do need more knowledge about the topic, so we moved it into the "content" part of maintenance. And I don't know what it was before but at this point you do need admin rights to delete pages. So...this may need some additional adjustments, I'll think about it. janellv 02:57, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
