Introduction
Historically Florida has had many Indian tribes. In addition, many other groups of people have immigrated or migrated to Florida.
Minority Groups
Some minority groups in Florida are:

- Italians
- Jews
Libraries
Local public libraries and university libraries often have books about the minority groups in their area. See PublicLibraries.com for lists of such libraries with their contact information.
The Family History Library also has information about such groups, as well as films of manuscript collections. FamilySearch Historical Record Collections had digital records for Florida.
Web Sites
- State Archives of Florida is the central repository for the state government. It collects historically significant records, including private manuscripts.
