Getting started with Guyana research
Formerly British Guiana. Republic in the northern part of South America, bounded on the northeast by the North Atantic Ocean, on the east by Suriname, on the south and west by Brazil, and on the northwest by Venezuela. See the CIA World Factbook about Guyana.
Demerara is now part of Guyana.
