Hahnville is a census-designated place (CDP) in and the parish seat of St. Charles Parish, Louisiana.
Hahnville was named after George Michael Hahn (November 24, 1830- March 15, 1886), the 19th Governor of Louisiana, Congressman and United States Senator during Reconstruction and after.
