Library visitors with special needs are welcome and will have access to all facilities. The library offers wheelchair access, microfilm readers for physically and visually handicapped users, and some assistance for hearing-impaired or foreign-language researchers. All vehicles displaying a disability special group license plate or disability windshield placard and transporting a person with a disability may be parked at any city parking meter without charge. In addition, these same vehicles may be parked in the following restricted zones without charge: freight loading, passenger loading and time limited parking zones. They may not be parked in areas where official signs or traffic markings absolutely prohibit stopping, standing or parking, including areas reserved for emergency use and bus stops.
Vehicles displaying a disability special group license plate or disability windshield placard and transporting a person with a disability are allowed to be parked up to two hours at all meters and within the restricted zones listed above.
