Parish History

HUNSINGORE (St. John the Baptist), a parish, in the Upper division of the wapentake of Claro, W. riding of York; 4 miles (N. N. E.) from Wetherby. This parish consists of the townships of Cattal, Hunsingore, and Great Ribston with Walshford. [1]
