Record Description

The collection consists of civil registration (stato civile) of births, marriages, and deaths within the custody of the Massa Courthouse (Tribunale di Massa). Includes ten-year indexes (indici decennali); residency records (cittadinanze); supplemental records (allegati); and marriage banns (pubblicazioni). Records for this collection include the years 1866-1929. However, the availability of records is largely dependent on time period and locality.
