Ottawa Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society Cemetery Search This database covers the counties of Carleton, Lanark, Renfrew, Prescott and Russell.

Societies and Libraries

Lanark Genealogical Society

Meetings are open to all.

Meeting Schedule: Society Meetings with Guest Speaker

Evening Meetings 7:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of May, June and September
Afternoon meetings 1:30 p.m. the first Saturday of October, November, February, March and April
Annual General Meeting and Potluck Luncheon, the first Saturday in December

No meeting in January, July and August.

Meetings are held at different locations throughout Lanark County. See the current meeting schedule on the website for locations.

The society website has publications and databases for gazetterrs, vital records, Bible records, history, land records, census, and photographs.
