Lancashire (Journal of the Lancashire Family History and Heraldry Society is the quarterly journal of the Lancashire Family History and Heraldry Society. The Lancashire Family History & Heraldry Society was formed in April 1973 as the Rossendale Society for Genealogy and Heraldry. The Society changed its name in 1985 to Lancashire Family History and Heraldry Society. The journal started in 1975 and continues today.

Booths of Redivals.  "My father was Richard Howarth Baron of Cowpe.  My paternal grandmother was Esther Booth born Rochdale 1852.  She was one of eight children of John Booth blockcutter and Naomi Whittaker.  John and Naomi were living at Stand Near Prestwich when they married in 1840.  Article covers the years 1743 - 1830 in the parish of Bury, England.  Article in the Lancashire (Journal of the Lancashire Family History and Heraldry Society) v. 4 #2 1983, pg 8[7]

A Lancashire in London by J.W. Cupboards Are Not Bare.  In the village of water - two miles from waterfoot on 1984 the road through the forest of Rossendale to Burnley they came in contact with Mr. and Mrs. Sutcliffe.  Their school had several old school admission registers.  Children came from the area around Water: Lumb, White well, Bottom and Dean.  These were tucked away in a cupboard.  A copy of this information will be deposited in the society library.  Article covers the year 1874 in the country of England.  Article in the Lancashire (Journal of the Lancashire Family History and Heraldry Society) v. 5 #3 August 1984, pg 23[11]
