Lincoln County Wyoming Headstones
Lincoln County, Wyoming, is located on the western side of the state along the Idaho border, just south of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Over the years, Lincoln County has been noted for its rich history of mining, railroading, ranching, hunting, fishing and tourism.
The Star Valley Historical Society, in conjunction with the Cokeville and Lincoln County Historical Societies, has developed a website [1] designed to provide relevant historical historical information for the curious historian and over 8,400 digital headstone images from 23 different cemeteries for the serious genealogist.
Included area cemeteries are:
Cokeville: Cokeville, Geneva, Raymond, Sage and Smith Fork
Kemmerer: Beaver, Diamondville, Ham's Fork, Holden, Kemmerer and Viola-LaBarge
Star Valley: Afton, Alpine, Amesville, Auburn, Bedford, Etna, Fairview, Freedom, Grover, Smoot, Thayne and Turnerville
Each of these images may be downloaded to your computer and printed free of charge.
