Chapelry History

LIVERPOOL (St. Stephen) church, Byrom Street, was created in 1792 when a former Baptist Church was acquired stood within the boundaries of St. Nicholas' and St. Peter's ancient parish. The church moved to a new site in 1870 and was later amalgamated with St Ann Richmond. The church in Byrom Street closed in 1937.[1]
