Millsfield is an unincorporated territory (township) first organized in 1774 in Grafton County, but since 1803 was set off into Coös County, New Hampshire. It is roughly the size of a town, but has a relatively low population. In 2010 the population was 23.
Records. Town records and some land records from 1778 to 1823 are preserved at the State Capitol Building in Concord, New Hampshire. Also, a microfilm copy is available from the Family History Library on 0015230 Item 2.
The county registrar of deeds should have the territory's land records. Nearby towns in the county may keep a few historical facts about some of the people who have lived in nearby territories.
