- 1850 to 1870 Mortality Records of Minnestoa by Counties from the Territorial Period of 1850 to the End of the year 1870: with the Records of St. Louis County to End of Year, 1883. Typescript, 1947. (Family History Library book 977.6 X2m) This book gives name, age, sex. state or country of birth, occupation and month of death. The St. Louis County lists are for 1872-1879 and 1881-1883. This book is arranged by county and is not indexed. The records come form the federal census except St. Louis County, which appears to come from local records.

- A Census of Pensioners for Revolutionary or Military Services: With their Names, Ages, and Places of Residence, as Returned by the Marshalls of the Several Judicial Districts, Under the Act for Taking the Sixth Census (1841; reprint, Baltimore, Md.: Genealogical Publishing, 1967)[FHL Book 973 X2pc 1840; Film 2321]. What became Minnesota was divided between Wisconsin and Iowa in the 1840 census. Wisconsin Territory and Iowa Territory are both on page 194. The 1841 edition is digitized by the U.S. Census Bureau and Google books et. al.
