Many wonderful sources for Dutch genealogical research are now on the Internet. Also helpful guides about the Netherlands and Dutch family research have been published and are available for purchase or at libraries.

In the Netherlands, there is not just one genealogy database to consult for the whole country. Many archives, whether they are city, regional or provincial, maintain their own databases.
