Records of soldier enlistments and other rosters for the Presidio of Santa Fe were used to compile this list. Data may include:

  • name and rank of soldier
  • brief service record
  • where known, the name of wife and children in the case of a married man
  • where known, a marriage date and place; christening dates of children
  • where known, parents names
  • former occupation
