History

The Pierre Agency was established in 1954 at the merger of the Crow Creek Agency and the Pierre Indian School. The agency was suspended in 1972[1].

Records

Some records of the Pierre Agency are in the Central Plains Regional Archives of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in Kansas City[2], including:
