Cemeteries in Schlesien are usually near the parish. Cemeteries are usually well maintained by the family members of the deceased, this includes planting flowers or shrubs on the plot. You will often see family members tending to the weeds and watering the plants. Old graves are cycled out as fees for the plot are no longer paid and eventually these graves are replaced with newer ones.

A website where people are able to post and view gravesites in the Grafschaft Glatz can be found at this link. This site is also in English.
