Homeland: Southern Puget Sound, Washington
The headquarters for the Puyallup Tribe is on the Puyallup Reservation in Washington.

1827: Fort Langley established by the Hudson Bay Company
1839: Catholic missionaries, arrive in the area
1854: Treaty of Medicine Creek - established the Puyallup Reservation
1855-1856: Yakima War
1887: Lands were allotted
1900: Puyallup Reservation land lost to railroad companies
1934: Tribe reorganized with a constitution
