Barbados Saint Andrew Parish
The earliest parish registers for the parish of St. Andrew, Barbados seem to be missing since the first baptism records begin almost a century late in August of 1825 with John William Chapman.
The first marriages in this parish appear in September 1723 with surnames such as Chandler, Corbin, Goodman, Graham, Medford, and Thompson. These were quickly followed by other well known names from that period with the likes of Acon, Agard, Bancroft, Bannister, Bayley, Bogany, Bradley, Bradshaw, Clarke, Corbin, Cozier, Dowding, Downey, Edwards, Fletcher, Forster, French, Gate, George, Gilkes, Gill,Goodman, Graham, Greaves, Greesha, Hinkson, Hurley, Ince, Jamott, Jones, King, Layne, Lewis, Mackenzie, Mansfield, McClean, Medford, Mitchell, Murphey, Noel, Pearne, Ross, Searles, Shufflee, Skeete, Small, Smith, Springer, Stanford, Thompson, Thornton, Toyer, Watson, Whitehead, Williams, and Young.
