- Many of the physical records of Schoharie County housed in the County Building were flooded during Hurricane Irene in August 2011. Work is ongoing to determine the damage and begin recovery.[2]
- Due to damage caused by Hurricane Irene, many of the county offices have been relocated to Cobleskill.[3]
