Star Valley Wyoming Obituaries
Star Valley, Wyoming, often referred to as Upper Lincoln County, is located just 70 miles south of Jackson Hole, Wyoming along the Idaho border. Settled primarily by Mormon pioneers towards the end of the 19th century, the Valley is rich in pioneer lore and history.
The Star Valley Historical Society has developed a website [1] designed to display relevant historical information for the curious historian and over 2,500 obituaries for the serious genealogist, scanned from the Star Valley Independent, our local newspaper, representing the period 1901 to the present.
This is an ongoing project which is approximately 50% complete.
Each of these scanned images may be downloaded to your computer and printed free of charge.
