STOCK (All Saints) or Stock Harvard, is a parish, in the union and hundred of Chelmsford, and S. division of Essex, it is 3 miles from Ingatestone. The parish is almost surrounded by that of Buttsbury, in which it is supposed to have been formerly a hamlet. The living is a rectory, with that of Ramsden-Bellhouse. There is a place of worship for Independents.
