STOKESBY (St. Andrew), a parish, in the East and West Flegg incorporation, hundred of East Flegg, E. division of Norfolk, 2 miles (E.) from Acle, by the ferry across the Bure; containing, with Herringby. There is a place of worship for Wesleyans. 
Stokesby St Andrew with Herringby is an Ancient parish in the Diocese of Norwich.
