Sutton (East Preston) Poor Law Union, SussexEdit This Page
From FamilySearch Wiki
The Sutton Gilbert Union existed from 1791; because of this status it was largely unaffected by the 1834 Poor Law Union Amenment Act. In 1869 the Gilbert Unions were abolished and some of the parishes in this union were transferred; the union acquired parishes in the East Preston Poor Law Union, Sussex
