Possibly we could add a section about Town Records: The town records of many towns in Cheshire County were microfilmed by the Genealogical Society of Utah. Town records contain valuable information about individuals. See the New Hampshire Research Outline section on Town Records concerning the types of information contained in these records.

The Genealogical Society of Uah microfilmed an Index to Early Town Records of New Hampshire, Early to 1850 (FHL films 14942-15052, alphabetical). This is an every name index to New Hampshire records to 1850 and therefore is a valuable finding tools for family names.
