(New 9/19) Presentation on how to index WV Naturalization records.
Index birthplace as the name of place at the time of the birth
Example of "Austria, now Italy", Birth Country would be indexed as Austria.

Additional Information (updated as needed)
1- When a document says "native of " this can be used as the Birth Country if no other place is listed.
2- Oath of Allegiance- If the document is filled out but not signed it is indexed.
3- Oath of Allegiance- If the document is not filled out but signed it is not indexed.
