Talk:Family History Activities for Children: 3-11Edit This Page

From FamilySearch Wiki

Another site for creating timelines that is powerful is Preceden at www.preceden.com. You can do timelines with 5 events for free or there is a one time charge for unlimited useage. What I like about it is that your timeline can be viewed and stored online, downloaded as a PDF, or saved to your computer as an image.

Another timeline website that I love is www.ourtimelines.com. It's an Internet site that allows you to customize a timeline by entering data about an ancestor, family members or yourself, then shows what was happening in the world during that person's lifespan.

First, we apologize for the delay in getting help to you. Second, there are several ways to do what you want to do. See the Wiki page, Help:Copying and Pasting. Also, pdf files can be uploaded the same way that images are uploaded and then can be added to the page.  Word documents can be copied and pasted, but you might lose formatting and have to do some editing.  There is a Wiki page on how to convert a Word document into Wiki  format.   If none of this helped you, please let us know so we can make sure you get the help you need.Lynda 21:17, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
