Instructions
- When content in FamilySearch Wiki needs immediate attention and deletion, please add this flag to the page or the section of the page that should be deleted.
- Wiki users cannot delete pages, but they can add the request to delete by adding this DeleteASAP flag.
- Add the DeleteASAP request template to a page by typing {{DeleteASAP}}
- When adding the DeleteASAP template to a page, include a note regarding the justification for the deletion request. The note should be typed as a parameter of the flag. e.g., {{DeleteASAP|This page is spam}}.
- The DeleteASAP flag could be added to the whole page or to sections of the page. Add the flag at the top of the page for requests to delete the whole page. Add the flag at the top of the section of a page to request specific sections be deleted. Only the section(s) with the DeleteASAP flag will be deleted.
- If you are using the template only for documentation purposes, you can suppress the Category:ASAP Deletion Requests by adding a blank category parameter, e.g., {{DeleteASAP|This page is spam|category=}}.
