United States U.S. Census Institutions
Census population schedules for jails, hospitals, poor houses or farms, and insane asylums were often placed near the end of the rest of the regular population scheules for a county. For a few census years the institutions are on separate rolls of microfilm. The same was done with schedules for American Indians, forts and military bases.
