My name is Ellen Ward. I'm from Maryland and have lived here most of my life. I manage a technology help desk in a large library system. We use a wiki for providing technological information to the library staff and the help desk staff.
Genealogically speaking, I've been doing research for about 10 years. Most of my research has been on families living in Maryland, primarily in Baltimore and Cecil Counties, but I also have family in Delaware.
I just completed ProGen, a 19-month online study group which ended in August 2011. In September I started the NGS Home Study Course. During the time I was doing ProGen I worked on the FamilySearch Wiki page for Cecil County, Maryland.
