I am Marling Ann McReynolds, a family history consultant in the Miranda Branch, Eureka, California Stake, I was baptized in 1992, however I had been doing family history for at least 15 years before that.
I have always enjoyed doing family research, for myself and anyone else.
In July 2012, along with my director, Mary Whitmore, I went to a Northern California Family History Expo for 2 days of classes. I worked in the class on German ancestry as well as using technology and some on British research. We brought back 3 books for the Family History Center: Beginner's Guide to Germanic Genealogy and The Hidden Half of the Family (A Sourcebook for Women's Genealogy) and Our Quaker Ancester, Finding Them inQuaker Records. I am looking forward to reading and using these books.
