Mike St. Clair, FNGS
A partially retired computer and networking professional, I have been involved with genealogy for more than 40 years. A member of the Utah Genealogical Association (UGA), the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), USGenWeb and the National Genealogical Society (NGS), I was elected a Fellow of NGS in 1998. I am preparing an application for ICAPGEN to reach level one in their accreditation process. Currently county coordinator for Teton County in the Idaho State Project of USGenWeb, known as IDGenWeb, I have in the past been the county coordinator for several other counties across the US, and am a past member of the national Advisory Board for USGenWeb. My ancestry is predominantly from Scotland, descended from individuals who immigrated to Ontario, Canada in the mid-1840s and others who emigrated to the US in the 1600s. I also have ancestors from England, Switzerland and Denmark. I served on the staff of the Mount Timpanogos Family History Center in American Fork and the Oakton Virginia Family History Center for several years each. As a church service missionary I work part-time in FamilySearch's World Wide Support organization on the research support team. I also do professional research projects for both Genealogy by Saints and Legacy Tree Genealogy.
