About the Los Angeles Family History Library (LAFHL)
After a two year renovation and addition, the Los Angeles Family History Library reopened 25 October 2010. Changes include 108 research computers, two training rooms and a conference room. Two of the new rooms have teleconferencing capabilities.
The library has 6,000 books, 60,000 microfilms plus 72,000 microfiches. The church now has an online order process (https://www.familysearch.org/films/) you can use anywhere there is an internet outlet for the microfilm/microfiche not in our inventory.
Family history research training is provided to help patrons in their personal searching efforts. Free parking is provided.
